The Gladiators are back for a season 2 after a successful season 1! This season will be tougher than ever before and see the return of an event that was a hit with viewers. But that’s not all, there’s a brand-new event that the makers have cooked up as well. But who are the contenders?

This season will see the return of a lot of old faces and some new faces as well who will take on superhuman Gladiators in five events. Whoever wins will then proceed to the Eliminator round. • Cyclone, 23-year-old: She is a 5 foot 10 Irish Powerlifter
• Hammer, 32-year-old: World Rowing Champion from Nottingham

Who are the Presenters and Commentators for Gladiators season 2? 

Bradley Walsh and Barney Walsh are back as the presenters of Gladiators season 2. Guy Mowbray, the well-known sports pundit, is the commentator.  

What will Happen in Gladiators Season 2 and What’s new?

In season 2 of Gladiators, the Atlaspheres make a comeback. Host Bradley Walsh explained the purpose of these huge metal balls in an interview with BBC. He said, “The contenders need to roll themselves over set points in the arena to score points, whilst the Gladiators smash into them to try to stop them.”

Also, this season, the contenders will have cameras fitted on their helmets so viewers will be able to see what they are going through. There’s a new event this season as well and it’s called Unleash! In this, the contenders will be in a smoke-filled tunnel. 

They will then have to race to grab the winning flag after crossing a track and steps. However, the mission won’t be easy as a Gladiator will be chasing them. Host Barney also teased the upcoming season by saying, “The Gladiators are back tougher, but so are the Contenders. This series the contenders are incredible, but the Gladiators are ready and bringing their A-game.’

In the first episode, we will see Giant fight on the duel podium with someone who is his size. Also, Viper will break his silence.
