Doctor Who at the Proms 2024 is set to air on BBC Two and stream on BBC iPlayer at 4:10 pm GMT on Christmas Eve.
Catherine Tate hosts Doctor Who at the Proms 2024, a thrilling blend of music, monsters, and mayhem at the Royal Albert Hall. The event features iconic soundtracks performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, dramatic alien appearances, and stunning visuals from the series.Â
Highlights include a new short film by Russell T Davies, Pantheon of Discord, starring Ncuti Gatwa, Jinkx Monsoon, and Anita Dobson. The concert also showcases Murray Gold’s compositions, classic fan favorites, and a revamped rendition of the iconic theme tune, all wrapped in dazzling effects and lighting.
The trailer teases iconic soundtracks, stunning visuals, and alien encounters, alongside a special feature celebrating the 15th Doctor. The BBC National Orchestra of Wales provides the thrilling music that brings the Doctor Who universe to life.
Doctor Who at the Proms 2024 is a co-production by BBC Studios and Livewire Pictures for BBC One Wales, BBC Two, and BBC iPlayer. The special (1x109’) was commissioned by BBC Arts and BBC Wales.
