What is the plot of Delicious?

A wealthy German family’s summer vacation in their French villa takes a dark turn after an accident on a country road. When they hit a young woman named Theodora, they decide to take her in, offering her a place to stay.

Filming began in 2023 in Avignon, France, and concluded on Nov. 24, 2023, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

The film marks the directorial debut of Nele Mueller-Stöfen, who also serves as the screenwriter. It is produced by Komplizen Film, with Janine Jackowski, Jonas Dornbach, and Maren Ade leading the production.

Academy Award-winner Christian M. Goldbeck is behind the production design, while Volker Bertelmann and Ben Winkler compose the film’s music. Frank Griebe handles the cinematography, with Anette Guther as the costume designer and Julia Böhm overseeing makeup and hair.
