Through home footage and private archives, the documentary explores Tim’s journey from his early, shy days to the rise of his career, revealing the duality that caused him emotional and mental pain.

Avicii – My Last Show offers a poignant look back at the EDM icon’s final performance in August 2016 at Ushuaïa Beach Hotel in Ibiza. This 30-minute special takes fans on a nostalgic journey through his electrifying live set, featuring iconic hits like “Wake Me Up,” “Levels,” and “Hey Brother.” 

Set against the vibrant energy of Ushuaïa, a place that was like a second home to Avicii, the performance captures the essence of his artistry and the passion that defined his shows.

The special also provides an intimate glimpse into the pressures Avicii faced as he neared the peak of his career, coupled with his decision to take a break from touring. Despite his global success, Avicii expressed a desire to reconnect with life outside the spotlight, aiming for balance and personal fulfillment. 

Tragically, his struggles led to his untimely passing two years later, but this performance and the accompanying documentary offer a lasting tribute to his music and the man behind the artist.

Who was Tim Bergling?

Tim Bergling, known professionally as Avicii, was a Swedish music prodigy born in Stockholm in 1989. He gained worldwide fame with his 2011 hit "Levels," followed by other chart-topping tracks like "Wake Me Up" and "The Nights." Despite his immense success, Tim faced struggles with anxiety and health issues, worsened by the pressures of touring and the demands of the EDM industry. 

In 2016, he retired from touring due to health concerns but continued to release music. Tragically, Tim passed away in 2018 while on vacation in Oman, sparking global conversations about mental health and the need for better artist welfare within the industry.
