Verizon Adds Hulu and ESPN+ to Disney+ as Freebies for Top Tier Subscribers
Last updated July 8, 2021
With the Disney+ launch drawing closer, it seems that the platform will become available for Hulu subscribers as an add-on.
This isn't exactly that big of a surprise since the platforms have a common owner, but it's nice to have a confirmation finally. Hulu subscribers have been hoping they'd be able to get Disney+ at a discount if they paired them together, and that's exactly what may very well happen when the service goes live. While there are no confirmations about that yet, the company may want to see people picking Hulu over other live TV platforms that could offer Disney+ as an add-on, in order to attract more subscribers.
Disney has already mentioned that they are considering bundling up Hulu, ESPN+, and Disney+, so we may see an even bigger offer coming up.
The new service is scheduled for launch on November 12th, 2019, first in the US and then the rest of the world. The platform will cost $6.99 per month or $69.99 for the year. You'll be able to watch content, both online and offline. Considering the type of content Disney+ is announcing, we're sure you'll want to be there 24/7.
