Kodi 18.3 Leia Now Available – The Latest Bugfix Release is Here!

• Two months after the previous update, Kodi 18.3 is finally available for download from its official website. 
• Don’t expect any new features; This update is focused on ‘usability’ fixes only.
• It might take some time until you see Kodi 18.3 live on the Google Play Store and Microsoft Store.

Ever since the release of Kodi 18.0, we’ve seen a steady stream of updates for the latest major version of the world’s most popular home theater software. As promised by Kodi’s developers, they’re now more focused on bringing regular updates that improve this application’s performance and resolve problematic areas. And they are delivering on that promise, considering that Kodi 18.3 has now been released.

We’re sure that Kodi users are aware that incremental updates are focused on fixing bugs. The same applies to Kodi 18.3, which brings a series of usability fixes focused on this application’s UI, as well as its PVR and music functionality. So, here’s a quick overview of what’s been fixed.

• Estuary: A number of UI fixes for the ‘Favorites’ widget (not scrolling properly on 16:10 displays), unreachable API button within Settings, and scrollbar focus of the ‘Skin Settings’. Also, TV show titles and episode titles should now display correctly in the ‘Video’ info dialog. Also, there’s now a new ‘Search’ button on the side menu in the ‘Music’ and ‘Video’ windows.
• PVR Functionality: A ‘Group Manager’ crash should now be resolved, in addition to the EPG UI corruption and EPG data not showing with newly added channels. A problem of the PVR Guide window channel data being overwritten has been resolved as well.
• Music Functionality: This is where we can find a single new feature of Kodi 18.3. The application can now play DTS-HD audio tracks. Also, the update resolves wrongly selected thumb art being picked for albums and artists.

As you can imagine, the previously mentioned changes were only a small part of what’s been fixed or changed.
