We already love MasterChef and everything it comes with, but when celebrities come to compete, the show gets even more fun for a while. If you want to watch the two-night special MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown live online, we'll help you out.

As per Fox's announcement, the special will air in two Wednesday nights, on May 15th and May 22nd, between 8 and 9 PM ET/PT. The show will feature several challenges.

In the home fridge swap challenge, the two-star contestants will be Tori Spelling, paired up with her daughter Stella, and Jennie Garth, paired up with daughter Fiona. Basically, the whole affair will take you back to the 90s and the Beverly Hills, 90210 times. Johnny Weir and his brother Boz will fight against Tara Lipinsky and her husband Todd to cook a delicious fish dish. Lisa Vanderpump and her daughter will compete against Snooki and JWoww in a Blind Taste Test, while Evander Holyfield and his daughter will compete with Oscar De La Hoya and his daughter will try to keep up with Gordon. It's going to be a couple of fun and star-studded nights.

As always, Gordon Ramsay will join award-winning chef Aarón Sánchez and restaurateur Joe Bastianich, to test the stars on their culinary skills. The winners will donate the prizes to a charity of their choice. Let's go ahead and learn all about watching the MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown live online.

Can You Watch MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown Live on the Fox Website?

Yes, because the Fox website does feature a live stream you can access. There are some conditions, of course, since you need an account. Mainly, you need to prove to Fox that you're paying to watch TV and that your subscription includes Fox, so you'll need to associate a TV provider account. Whether that provider is a cable company or a live TV platform, matters very little. But, since you are looking for ways to watch the show online, we might as well discuss the live TV platforms that feature Fox.

What Live TV Services Can You Subscribe to Watch MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown On?

For years now, we've learned just how easy the Internet can make our lives so we use it for everything from talking to our friends, listening to music, reading books, ordering food and groceries, working, binging on cool shows and more. Why wouldn't we also watch TV online, right? Well, nowadays, there are plenty of live TV platforms to suit everyone and they're far better than cable because they're cheaper, you can customize them, and you can cancel your subscription anytime you want since there's no contract to tie you down. Plus, perhaps the best part is that you can watch TV anywhere you are, as long as you have a compatible device such as a smartphone and an Internet connection. You no longer have to hurry home to watch your favorite shows! Let's see what options you have to watch the MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown live online.

fuboTV - At the top of our list, we have fuboTV, which is a great platform that comes with two bundles to pick from, namely fubo and fubo Extra. Both of these feature Fox, so you're covered to watch the MasterChef special. If you want to customize the plan, know that there are a bunch of channel packs available, as well as several premium networks.

Sling TV - The list continues with Sling TV, which is a great service that offers three bundles to pick from - Orange, Blue, and Orange + Blue. Well, Fox is part of two of these bundles, namely Blue and Orange + Blue, so you can pick the one you like the most. Sling TV is one of the platforms that are easiest to customize because it starts with relatively cheap bundles and then you can add interest-based channel packs. There are also plenty of premium networks you can get if you want to.

Hulu - Next, we have Hulu on the list, which is a great service that has been around for a while, delivering video on demand to subscribers. Well, the live TV plan costs $45 per month and includes access to dozens of channels, including Fox, and the full VOD library, which is pretty great. Even though there's only one bundle of channels here, you can add a couple of channel packs, as well as several premium networks.

YouTube TV - The list continues with YouTube TV, which is a single-bundle platform that costs $50 per month. On top of having Fox, the platform also features dozens of other channels, including some pretty cool Discovery channels. There's no way to add other channel packs because there are none, but you can add some premium networks if you really want to.

DirecTV Now - DirecTV Now is next on the list and it's a versatile platform that features seven bundles. Two of these are completely new, namely Plus and Max, while the other ones, Entertainment, Choice, Xtra, Ultimate, and Optimo Mas, have been around with the platform for a long time, but they recently got rebranded and slapped with a price that's double than what it used to be. Either way, all seven of them feature Fox, so there's no need to worry you won't be able to watch the MasterChef special. If you want to customize the service, you can add several Spanish language packs, and a few international packs, plus various premium networks.

PlayStation Vue - We also have PlayStation Vue on the list, which is great news because this is one of our favorites. The platform features four bundles to pick from - Access, Core, Elite, and Ultra - and all of them feature Fox, so you're good to go to watch MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown. If you want to customize the service a bit, you can add a couple of packs or several premium networks. The best part, we think is the perks that the platform offers subscribers, from the cloud DVR feature to the simultaneous streams.

What Can You Do If Fox Isn't Available in Your Area?

Fox is one of the channels that broadcast via local stations, which is quite annoying for the people that live in areas where the channel isn't available in. This is quite an issue even with live TV platform subscribers and it has caused upset among people. Thankfully, these platforms work online, which means they know where you are by looking at your IP address and delivering the appropriate channels. Well, IP addresses are super easy to change if you have a VPN. So, once that change happens, you should be able to enjoy Fox like the rest of the people. Let's see what needs to be done.

Note: We must also point out that the very same method we just described can come in useful when you're traveling abroad and discover that live TV platforms and streaming services are geoblocked, so you can't access any of them. In that case, simply follow the above-mentioned steps, pick a US server and you're good to go. You will easily circumvent the blockade in seconds.

Can You Use a TV Antenna to Watch Fox?

Yes, since Fox is one of the channels that broadcast over the air, you'll be able to watch the MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown with a TV antenna. Antennas have been popular with cord cutters for years, well before live TV platforms were a thing. The best part about them is that they're cheap and you get to watch TV for free by using them. The downside to this is that you will go from hundreds of channels provided by cable to only a couple of dozens, depending on where you live. But, since the whole thing is free, you can't really complain.

Before making a decision, we do suggest you visit a site like NoCable, which will tell you what channels broadcast over the air in your location. If you like the list enough to consider taking the plunge, the broadcast strength and range data should help you choose the range in your new antenna. We have already suggested a device to you, which is highly liked by users, but you can research your own, of course.

Can You Binge Watch MasterChef Seasons?

Since this is special, you can't really watch previous shows, but you can enjoy MasterChef's many seasons over on Fox. You will need to log into an account to access them, but if you subscribe to any of the above-mentioned platforms, that won't be an issue. You can also watch MasterChef over on Hulu, which is pretty awesome.

If you like MasterChef enough to purchase the show's episodes and seasons, you can get those from various platforms such as YouTube, Google Play, iTunes, Amazon Prime, Vudu, and Microsoft Store. You should check all of them out before making a purchase because the prices may differ and they may even have deals for various seasons.
