War Machine doesn’t have a release window yet, but it will stream on Netflix when it does come out. The film will likely release in late 2025 or 2026 depending on how long the post-production takes.Â
A whole lot of information isn’t available regarding War Machine, but it is said to be about the final recruits at a special operations boot camp who get thrown into action when deadly forces invade Earth. The movie is a sci-fi thriller. Dennis Quaid, who is a part of the cast, revealed to MovieWeb some details about shooting the film.Â
He said, "I had a blast down there in Australia for a couple of weeks. It was great, because I got to play the general, and I never got my uniform dirty at all. Wonderful. Alan was up to his chest and mud. He's really good in [the film] - it's going to be wild to watch."
In WIRED's Autocomplete Interview, Alan Ritchson said that the movie could be the biggest movie from Netflix. He said, “War Machine for Netflix. I think, and you heard it here first, probably gonna be the, no, not probably, gonna be the biggest movie that Netflix has ever had. This movie is gonna be a monster. This is the coolest thing they've ever made, guaranteed."
