In the small village of Hurmevaara, life is upended when a meteorite crashes into a car one night. The mayor sees this as a golden opportunity to revitalize the struggling town. So, the village priest and veteran peacekeeper, Joel, is told to ensure the meteorite's safety in an old museum until it can be sent to London for further analysis.
However, the valuable rock soon attracts unwanted attention, drawing both amateur and professional criminals eager to steal it. As Joel works to protect the meteorite, he faces an even more personal crisis—his wife has unexpectedly announced she is pregnant. Joel, unable to have children due to a war injury, has kept this secret from her, complicating his already troubled state of mind.
As the meteorite’s mystery deepens, Joel must navigate the mounting threats to the rock while confronting his own crisis of faith and destiny. The collision of his personal and external conflicts forces him to question everything he once believed.
A captivating official clip offers a glimpse into the tense atmosphere and intriguing storyline. The clip showcases the delicate balance between the criminal chaos caused by a meteorite and the main character’s inner conflict, highlighting the film’s emotional depth.
