Happy Gilmore 2 Trailer: 3 Things we Noticed in the Adam Sandler Starrer

The Happy Gilmore 2 trailer (or rather teaser trailer) is here! Fans have been waiting for a long time to see footage from the sequel to Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore (1996) movie. The trailer shows Sandler returning as a former hockey player who uses golf to channel his anger issues. So, what did the new teaser trailer reveal? In this article, we will discuss the three things that caught our attention. 

1. Multiple Pro Golfers will make an Appearance

Pro golfers like Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, John Daly, Scottie Scheffler, Will Zalatoris, Rory McIlroy, and Bryson DeChambeau are in the teaser trailer for Happy Gilmore 2. This could mean that a golf competition could be a part of the plot. Fans of the sport should be excited to see how the cameos of popular names in the game pan out. 

2. Nipple Pinching Actor Blake Clark is here 

The Happy Gilmore 2 trailer/ teaser trailer showed Blake Clark pinching his nipples. The actor could probably be back as Farmer Fran in the sequel. For those who don’t know, the actor played the pierced character in 1998's The Waterboy and in the trailer, it looks like he is reprising that role. Look out for him striking his signature at around 46 seconds into the new footage. 

3. Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend will make an Appearance 

Apart from the pro golfers, it looks like one pro footballer, Travis Kelce, who is currently dating pop star Taylor Swift, will also appear in the film. This was already confirmed in the special teaser that was released for New Year's Day. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Adam Sandler talked about Travis Kelce’s cameo in the film. He said: 

“We have a nice something for Travis. He’s going to come by. He’s a very nice guy, you guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud, and he’s so funny.”

Along with Kelce, it has been confirmed that Bad Bunny will also be a part of the film. Check out the newly released teaser trailer below:

Happy Gilmore 2 is set to be released on Netflix on Friday, July 25, 2025.
