A breakout from the critically acclaimed and commercially successful series, The Bear, is now venturing out into executive producing a biker indie film. The movie, which is about restoring a vintage bike, has grabbed the attention of this unlikely star. In this article we will discuss everything we know about this project. 

Which The Bear Executive Producer is Joining An Indie Project?

Matty Matheson, a real-life chef, and an executive producer on The Bear, is joining Born to Lose, an indie feature, as an executive producer. Actor Dylan Arnold, best known for Netflix's popular series You, will be the leading man of the film. 

The project comes from director Joseph Zentil, who is making his feature debut. The plot follows Dylan Arnold’s Andy Logan, a young biker trying to forge his own path amid his father’s troubled legacy. But problems begin when he fails to pay back his debts to a local gangster. 

Andy tries to fix a vintage motorcycle before time runs out to save himself, but before that he has to confront his family secrets.

Born to Lose is directed by Joseph Zentil and written by Pierce Csurgo, Zentil, and Eric J. Kinsey. Producers are Tom Putnam and Brett Woodall of Commonwealth Creative Entertainment, Csurgo & Zentil of Strange Customs, and Roger M. Mayer of Brooklyn Reptyle Productions. 

Matty Matheson (The Bear) and Michele Silva-Neto of Cretney Williams Investments are executive producers. Production is currently on-going in rural Western Kentucky.
