Queen Camilla: The Wicked Stepmother will debut on Channel 4 on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024, at 9 p.m. It is 46 minutes long.
The documentary Queen Camilla: The Wicked Stepmother follows Camilla Parker Bowles' rise to the throne. From being a royal mistress to a monarch, this is her story as told through royal biographers, family workers, experts in the British royal household, and friends close to the queen.
The documentary will explore her biography and background in detail as well as analyze how her ascendency to a higher royal status affected her relationship with her stepson Prince Harry.
As per the Scottish Daily Express, a spokesperson for the Archewell Foundation, which represents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, stated, “Neither Duke or Duchess, nor their team, participated in the making of this documentary. We would safely like to assume it will state as such in the show.”
In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry revealed that he had once wondered if Camilla would be to him “like all the wicked stepmothers in storybooks.” He also stated that in 2005, he and his brother, Prince William, had pleaded with their father not to marry Camilla. He wrote, “Despite Willy and me urging him not to, Pa was going ahead. We pumped his hand, wished him well. No hard feelings. We recognized that he was finally going to be with the woman he loved, the woman he’d always loved.”
No trailer or teaser has been released as of now. We will keep you updated if there are any future releases.
