Plot
Elsbeth follows Elsbeth Tascioni, an unconventional consent decree attorney collaborating with the NYPD to apprehend New York’s elite murderers.Â

How did Elsbeth Season 1 end?
In the season one finale of Elsbeth, several key plot points emerged: Wagner, the seemingly harmless captain, was proven innocent, while his trusted lieutenant Noonan was arrested for misusing nonprofit funds and running a sweatshop on Wagner's behalf, clearing him of all suspicions.Â
Elsbeth faced the prospect of returning to Chicago when Wagner expressed his anger over her secret investigation of him throughout the season. However, he ultimately changed his mind and offered her a legitimate role in investigating crimes with the NYPD.Â
