Plot

Relative Secrets explores the hidden truths buried within participants' family histories, uncovering dark secrets that have shaped their lives. Each episode focuses on a different American family, delving into their deepest mysteries and revealing how these secrets continue to impact them today. 

The series connects families to their UK roots, featuring stories like a 99-year-old World War II veteran haunted by his grandmother's murder during his absence, a daughter of a serial killer seeking to redefine her life, and a mother who abandoned her children to start a secret new life.
