Plot

In a mythical realm filled with epic battles, remarkable deeds, and profound despair, Twilight of the Gods unfolds the tale of Leif, a mortal king saved by Sigrid, an iron-willed warrior. Their love blossoms amidst chaos, but tragedy strikes on their wedding night when Thor unleashes terror upon them, propelling Sigrid and Leif into a relentless quest for vengeance alongside a band of crusaders.

The narrative is rooted in Norse mythology, presenting a gripping story of love, loss, and revenge that takes them through fantastical lands, fierce battlefields, and wars against gods and demons. Initially shrouded in mystery, Zack Snyder recently unveiled key plot details, describing how Sigrid, the daughter of giants, embarks on a relentless mission of revenge after a fateful incident at their wedding.

Together with a diverse cast of characters, including a seer and a dwarf, Sigrid forms a formidable band determined to confront a god. The series showcases her as a complex character—beautiful yet cold, embodying both strength and passion. Voiced by Sylvia Hoeks, Sigrid's journey reflects Snyder's vision of pushing the boundaries of storytelling through animation.
