Part two of Cobra Kai season six, featuring five episodes, will be released on Netflix on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024. This date was moved up to align with the highly anticipated Mike Tyson fight.
The final five episodes are expected to air in February 2025, concluding the season and potentially setting the stage for future developments.
You can stream Cobra Kai season six part two on Netflix in regions like the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. However, geo-restrictions may prevent you from accessing the show if you're traveling outside these areas. To bypass these restrictions, using a reliable VPN to stream Cobra Kai season six part two can be extremely helpful. A VPN works by hiding your IP address, allowing you to stream content as if you were still in your home country.
Selecting the best VPN is crucial, as you’ll need one that offers fast, stable connections and robust security features. NordVPN comes highly recommended for this purpose. It provides 24/7 customer support and includes advanced security features like Threat Protection. Additionally, its DNS and IPv6 Leak Protection ensures your IP address and DNS requests remain private. The Meshnet feature also lets you connect securely with other NordVPN users, further enhancing your online security.
Season six, part one, plunged the Valley's karate community from a fragile peace into intense competition leading up to the Sekai Taikai international karate tournament. The season saw only six members of Miyagi-Do, now home to both Cobra Kai and Eagle Fang alumni, qualify for the tournament in Barcelona: Miguel, Samantha, Tory, Robby, Devon, and Demetri. However, tensions rose when Devon sabotaged Kenny to secure her spot, and Demetri defeated former All Valley champion Hawk.
The season’s major twists come in episode five. Tory’s mother unexpectedly dies from kidney disease, pushing Tory to quit Miyagi-Do and giving her spot to Hawk. But, in a shocking turn of events, Tory decides to compete in the tournament under a resurrected Cobra Kai, led by Sensei Kreese. Kreese, having escaped jail at the end of season five, fled to South Korea and began forming a new team with Kim Da-Eun. The part ends on a cliffhanger as Miyagi-Do faces its greatest challenge yet.
As season six continues in November, viewers can expect intense karate action. Co-creator Jon Hurwitz teased that the “middle five” episodes will be the most explosive in the show's history, with characters clashing (including Hawk and Demetri, Tory and Sam, and even Johnny and Daniel) and Kreese ready to cause chaos.
With Cobra Kai out of the Valley, our senseis and students face a crucial decision about their participation in the Sekai Taikai—the world karate championships. Season six, part one lays the groundwork for this pivotal moment, exploring the fallout from Terry Silver’s defeat and John Kreese’s return, which introduces fresh tensions. As Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen come together to train their students for the Sekai Taikai, their contrasting teaching styles create ongoing friction between Johnny and Daniel.
The biggest revelation in part one is Tory’s defection to Kreese's Cobra Kai after her mother's death. This twist is set to create further conflict, especially between Johnny and Daniel, as they disagree over how to handle the situation. Daniel, meanwhile, grapples with a secret about Mr. Miyagi, which could shake the foundation of his beliefs.
The part ends with the Miyagi-Do team heading to the Sekai Taikai, but with tensions high and internal conflicts unresolved, their chances at victory are uncertain. As the series moves into part two, the stage is set for an epic showdown at the tournament, where Miyagi-Do’s unity will be tested like never before.
To mark the conclusion of the Karate Kid spinoff, Cobra Kai season six has been extended to fifteen episodes, a departure from the usual ten. However, instead of releasing the entire season at once, Netflix opted to split it into three parts, similar to how they handled shows like Stranger Things season four.
Hayden Schlossberg, one of the show's creators, explained that while ten episodes wouldn’t suffice to wrap up all storylines, fifteen episodes felt like the ideal length for the final chapter. Given that each season of the show has typically followed a five-episode story arc, the decision was made to break the season into three distinct parts, effectively creating three mini-seasons.
The first five episodes, or part one, were released on Netflix on July 18, 2024. Part two is scheduled for release on Nov. 15, 2024, and part three, referred to as "The Finale Event," is expected in 2025. Each block of five episodes runs approximately three hours, making it manageable for viewers to watch in one sitting, with the anticipation building between releases.
Unfortunately, Cobra Kai will not have a seventh season. The series creators confirmed in Jan. 2023 that season six would be the show's final chapter.
Although Cobra Kai is concluding, the Miyagi-verse is far from over. A new Karate Kid movie is in the works, aiming to bridge the original trilogy with the 2010 remake starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. For the first time, Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan will share the screen, joined by newcomer Ben Wang (American Born Chinese) as the new Karate Kid.
But that’s not all. While Cobra Kai ends with season six, the creators have hinted at potential spin-offs, stating: "This fandom is the best on the planet, and we hope to be telling more Karate Kid stories with you down the line. Because, as we all know, Cobra Kai Never Dies.” So, stay tuned—more Karate Kid adventures may be on the horizon!
