Should You Use a VPN to Watch Humane?

Humane is now available for streaming on Shudder and AMC+. Unfortunately, due to licensing agreements and broadcasting rights, these services are geo-blocked. So, if you're in a restricted region, geo-fencing will keep you from accessing this movie.

For example, if you try to access this movie on Shudder outside the US without a VPN running in the background, it will show a geo-location error message that says, "Sorry, we are not available in your country."

Shudder Geo Block

Just like Shudder, trying to access the film on AMC+ outside the US will hit you with frustrating geo-restriction error messages. But don't let borders spoil your streaming fun. A VPN can help you evade any location barriers. This is where NordVPN shines as your premium choice for streaming Humane, offering unrestricted and secure browsing.

NordVPN isn't just the best paid VPN for unblocking platforms; it protects your privacy, secures your online activities, and shields your data from potential cyber threats. It provides 6000+ servers in 111 countries.

Humane is a 2024 horror thriller directed by Caitlin Cronenberg and written and produced by Michael Sparaga. It was released in Canada by Elevation Pictures and in the US by IFC Films on April 26, 2024, and will air on Shudder's streaming service on July 26.

In Humane, an environmental crisis leads governments to mandate euthanasia for population control. Former news broadcaster Charles York gathers his adult children, including anthropologist Jared, CEO Rachel, actress Ashley, and recovering addict Noah, along with Rachel's daughter Mia, for dinner.

Charles reveals that he and his wife, celebrity chef Dawn Kim, have volunteered for the euthanasia program. Dawn later changes her mind and flees. Department of Citizen Strategy officer Bob arrives with armed agents, and Charles decides to proceed with euthanasia to avoid consequences.

After Charles's death, Bob demands a second body, giving the family two hours to decide who will die. The siblings turn on each other, leading to violent confrontations. Noah's girlfriend, Grace, arrives but is killed by an agent. The siblings restrain Noah but later decide to kill Bob instead. They take Bob and the agents hostage.

They euthanize the agent who killed Grace. Bob reveals Dawn is in custody. Despite his threats, Noah prepares to inject Bob with the euthanasia drug, and the scene cuts to black.

Later, Jared, Rachel, Mia, Dawn, and Jared's son Lucas attend a concert by Noah, while a bruised Bob appears in a government propaganda commercial claiming Ashley and Grace volunteered for euthanasia.
