An 11-year-old history enthusiast named Kevin discovers a time portal in his wardrobe in Time Bandits, the first TV adaptation of the cult classic movie, coming soon to Apple TV+. 

Created by Jemaine Clement, Iain Morris, and Taika Waititi, the series will premiere globally, with the first two episodes on July 24. Two new episodes will be released every Wednesday until August 21.

Led by Lisa Kudrow, the crew of bandits embarks on epic adventures while facing threats from evil forces. As they travel through time and space, they stumble upon fascinating historical moments and rely on Kevin's knowledge to navigate each situation. 

Time Bandits witness the creation of Stonehenge, the Trojan Horse in action, escape from dinosaurs, wreak havoc during medieval times, experience the Ice Age, ancient civilizations, the Harlem Renaissance, and more.

Paramount Television Studios, Anonymous Content's AC Studios, and MRC produce the 10-episode series. Clement, Morris, and Waititi serve as executive producers, writers, and directors for select episodes, and Clement and Morris are co-showrunners. Garrett Basch, Tim Coddington, and Jane Stanton also executive produce, with Stanton representing Handmade Films.
