On July 4, the Husky Owners forum website and Roblox suffered data breaches impacting user details. Breach notification service Have I Been Pwned verified and added 16,502 Husky Owners and 10,386 Roblox unique compromised accounts to its database on July 7 and July 6, respectively.

The Husky Owners forum website was defaced and linked to records of exposed Husky Owners user data that included usernames, email addresses, dates of birth, and time zones.

Roblox recently disclosed a 2024 Roblox Developer Conference data breach due to third-party access to a vendor’s website. This breach exposed a subset of user information from a 2022-2024 conference registration list, including unique email addresses, names, and IP addresses. Other details, such as who is behind the Roblox hack or whether affected individuals will be notified, are not yet available.

People who may have been impacted by these security incidents should stay alert and beware of potential scams and phishing attacks.

On June 28, a hacker claimed responsibility for gaining unauthorized access to a huge database from Traderie, a popular trading platform for Roblox, on a popular hacking forum. The announcement was posted by a threat actor under the “victim” handle, and the database allegedly contained 392,270 records breached in 2022, including usernames, email addresses, Google and Twitter IDs, social media identifiers, user-submitted notes and bios, and payment methods.
