An upcoming children's adventure mystery is promising to be the hit of the summer for the younger viewers at home. Surfside Girls is landing on Apple TV+ soon, and we're excited to watch the series alongside the kids.
Surfside Girls is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Kim Dwinell. The story follows best friends Jade and Sam, played by Miya Cech and YaYa Gosselin. Upon finding a gold coin, they discover that their island isn't exactly as they thought it was. They soon meet a ghost, a cursed treasure, and booby-trapped rooms. They must figure out the mystery, go through regular teenage issues, and more as we watch them discover how all of it is connected.
The cast list includes Spencer Hermes-Rebello, Adan Maverick Carcaño, Sonita Henry, Christine Lin, Michelle Mao, Joseph Mesiano, Logan Evan Gray, Camille Dragomer, and others. The books have a 9+ age recommendation on Common Sense Media, so the show will likely fall into the same category.
