The latest episode of My Dress-Up Darling was all about dressing up for cosplay! The episode began with our favorite cosplay duo, Kitagawa and Gojo, arriving from the store with materials for the Black Lobelia outfit. It's episodes like these that truly stick to the theme of the series and allow it to stay true to its name.
Our precious Gojo-Kun was embarrassed pretty early on in the episode, as Kitagawa showed him a swimsuit she was wearing under her clothes. Of course, it was only for the benefit of the cosplay outfit. Sometime later, Gojo shows Marin and Juju the outfits he's designed for their "Flower Princess Blaze!!" cosplay. When doing Kitagawa's make-up, Gojo also uses the tips he got from Juju earlier, including using the cosplay tape to change the shape of her eyes!
The girls soon head to the hospital, the location for the cosplay shoot, and wait for Gojo and Shinju to arrive. However, Shinju surprises the girls as she shows up in a male cosplay outfit! In a flashback, we see Shinju confessing to Gojo that she wants to cosplay. However, it seems that Shinju wants to cosplay as Soma, a male character from the "Flower Princess Blaze!!" series.
The two then go to Gojo's house, as he helps her dress into her outfit. Since Shinju is a girl with a fairly developed body, the two also learn about a "B Holder" item to deal with her chest. In the flashback, the unexpected duo also works on Shinju's wig and make-up. The group takes a picture together in their cosplay outfits back in the present!
