My Dress-Up Darling's latest episode saw Kitagawa and Gojo receiving some advice for their photography skills. The episode began with Juju's younger sister, Shinju, showing the cosplay duo some photos she took of her sister. She also shows Kitagawa the camera she uses and explains the different filters and settings that can produce different types of pictures.
The group soon visits the studio for Juju's shoot, located in an abandoned hospital. As Shinju and Kitagawa explore the place, Gojo senses Juju's uneasiness, and the two have an intense conversation, which ultimately brings tears to his eyes. Juju talks about her childhood dream of becoming a "magical girl" like the ones on tv. Meanwhile, Shinju shows the benefits of backlit pictures to Kitagawa, keeping true to the episode's title.
On the other hand, Gojo talks about his dream to become a Hina Doll artist, which Juju encourages him for. Realizing how much cosplaying means to Juju, Gojo asks her why she chose him to make an outfit. She explains that when she saw the quality of Kitagawa's cosplay, it was "love at first sight." This takes Gojo back to when his grandfather explained to him that his intention with Hina dolls was to make people fall in love with them at first sight.
Hearing Juju's words about "love at first sight," Gojo begins to cry tears of joy and thanks her for choosing him as her designer. Juju, from an all-girls school and has never held a boy's hand before, passes out. The episode also features extremely cute scenes between our favorite cosplay couple, Kitagawa and Gojo.
The two decide to spend the day at the beach, where Gojo confesses to never having been there before. Stunned, Kitagawa tells him that she will take him to many places on their vacation break, just the two of them together. Gojo accepts the offer, but Kitagawa soon realizes what she just said and blushes. However, she's also happy to know that she'll get to spend the entirety of the summer break with Gojo. Seeing Gojo standing on the waters' edge by himself, Kitagawa takes a picture of him, thinking about how amazing he is.
