The shorthanded Dallas Mavericks will be looking to build on their impressive recent win as they face off against the Sacramento Kings in the NBA regular season on Wednesday. Both teams have been hit by COVID-19 issues and injuries of late. So it will be interesting to see how this game plays out.
The Dallas Mavericks showed some fight in the absence of Luka Doncic, as they beat the Portland Trail Blazers in their last game. Kristaps Porzingis led the way by scoring 34 points and nine rebounds in that game, and he will have to deliver another strong performance on Wednesday. The 2011 NBA Champions are currently seventh in the Western Conference standings and have a 16-17 record at the moment.
The Sacramento Kings are a team in the lower reaches of the Western Conference standings. They are having a very underwhelming season, and things haven't improved much since the sacking of their head coach. Only a handful of teams have a worse record at the moment than the Kings. Even with the home advantage, they go into the game against the Mavericks on Wednesday as the underdogs.
The game will be broadcast locally in the Dallas Mavericks market on Bally Sports SW-DAL and the NBC Sports California in the Sacramento Kings market. Fans who do not live in these states can watch the game live as well, as it will be broadcast live nationally on NBA TV with a live stream on fuboTV.
