The Disney+ library seems to be packed with action movies for all ages and tastes, so there's pretty much everything for every fan. Since it's Disney we're talking about here, of course, it includes whole franchises it signed its name on, such as Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean and a whole set of Marvel productions like X-Men, Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, you name it!

However, keep in mind that you need to subscribe to Disney+ in order to play these titles.

20. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)

This is the 10th-highest-grossing movie overall in Disney company history and won several awards. Young Lucy, Edmund, Peter, and Susan are separated from their mother in a London bombing during the Blitz, and they end up in a fantasy world called Narnia. This is an excellent Disney production where we get to see James McAvoy as Mr. Tumnus and Tilda Swinton in a magnificent role as the White Witch who cursed Narnia to eternally experience winter and never Christmas, while the children fight to defeat her with the help of the wise lion Aslan.

19. National Treasure (2004)

This is the first one in the National Treasure film series and stars Nicolas Cage, Harvey Keitel, Jon Voight, Diane Kruger, Sean Bean, Justin Bartha, and Christopher Plummer. Hunting treasure and discovering mysteries in a continuous chase makes this a thrilling action-adventure movie that follows a historian and amateur cryptographer searching for a huge lost treasure stockpile that was hidden by American Freemasons during the American Revolutionary War - and of course, his team is not the only one looking for it.

18. The Incredibles (2004)

The Incredibles is one of the most appreciated Disney and Pixar collaborations, and it features a family that's made entirely of superheroes. Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl live a quiet suburban life with their three children and hide their powers as per the government's request. However, they all get into a conflict with a vengeful fan who becomes their enemy - and the movie's villain. It won two Academy Awards and one Hugo Award, and it's rated PG for "action violence."

The Big Hero 6 movie tells the story of young robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada who loses his brother Tadashi. Together with Baymax, his late brother's healthcare provider robot, they fight the masked villain who is responsible for Tadashi's death, becoming a superhero team.

Another action movie featuring Dwayne Johnson, this time along with Alexander Ludwig, AnnaSophia Robb, and Carla Gugino in an action-packed remake of the 1975 Disney live-action film Escape to Witch Mountain (there was one in 1995 as well), which is based on the 1968 novel of the same name. The cab driver played by The Rock drives two aliens disguised as teens back to their ship in a race against time, government agents, and an alien hunter.

15. Jungle Cruise (2021)

This new addition to the Disney live-action movies presents Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt as the captain of a small riverboat and a scientist, respectively, who go on a thrill-ride down the Amazon through the jungle in search of the famous legendary Tree of Life. On their way, they fight with members of a German expedition and undead conquistadors to make the story even more thrilling and interesting.

14. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)

This 2021 Marvel movie stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, a superhero that is pushed by his immortal father who wields the ten powerful rings to search for a mythical village where his long-gone mother was born. It was positively reviewed by critics, the choreography of the action sequences was praised, as well as the exploration and representation of Asian culture and the cast performances. A sequel is currently in development.

The story introduces Peter Quill or "Star-Lord" (Chris Pratt) as he steals a powerful artifact desired by Thanos and unexpectedly teams up with Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Groot (Vin Diesel), and Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and leaves us singing "Come And Get Your Love."

10. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010)

The last movie of the Prince of Persia trilogy is an action fantasy adaptation of the Ubisoft game bearing the same name that stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan, Gemma Arterton as Princess Tamina, and Ben Kingsley as Nizam. The medieval Persia story and follows Dastan and Tamina as they try to wield Dagger of Time in an action-packed race against time. It was the highest-grossing video game film until it was surpassed by Warcraft in 2016.

9. Tron: Legacy (2010)

This science fiction action film is a sequel to the 1982 Tron, and we get to see Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner reprising their roles as Kevin Flynn and Alan Bradley, as 20 years later, Flynn's adult son Sam responds to a message left by his long-lost father. He's sucked into an incredible cyberworld called "the Grid," where Sam, his father, and the algorithm Quorra fight a rogue hacking program called Clu to stop it from invading the real world.

8. Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

Many critics consider this Phase Two Marvel movie directed by Taika Waititi to be the best installment of the Thor films. It was critically acclaimed for its acting and Waititi's direction, as well as the action sequences and humor. In Empire Strikes Back, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) goes to find and train with Jedi Master Yoda on planet Dagobah in order to battle Lord Darth Vader again. The young padawan then goes to the Cloud City in the planet Bespin, where learns the truth about his father - and loses a hand - in the legendary lightsaber duel.

3. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006)

An older movie of the Pirates of the Caribbean saga, Dead Man's chest is as action-packed as the others, but this one has a deeper and more touching story involving the sad romance between Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) and Calypso. It's also one that pushed more memes and quotes into pop culture thanks to Jack Sparrow's (Johnny Depp) special hilarious input while stranded on the island with the indigenous people who made him their temporary god-king before trying to sacrifice him.

2. X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)

In a time when Sentinels gained the ability to adapt to almost every mutant power after Raven was captured and experimented on, Xavier sends Wolverine back in time to 1973 to prevent scientist Trask's assassination and change the present. The previous movie of the Infinity saga (Infinity War) is one of the most heartwrenching dramas ever, leaving audiences speechless by the end as some of our favorite heroes die in the saddest ways. In this epic conclusion of the saga, the remaining Avengers fight the supreme villain Thanos again after he wiped out half of the world's population in the previous 2018 Infinity War movie. It became a critically acclaimed phenomenon and received numerous awards and nominations.
