Augmented reality is the biggest draw of iOS 12 and it is coming to all Apple devices that have access to iOS 11 as a free update. Apple announced its partnership with multiple industry giants like Adobe, Autodesk, and Pixar to offer AR experiences to its users. The ARKit is available for developers to create augmented reality apps that take advantage of Apple’s tight software and hardware integration.

The USDZ file format is one of the newest additions to iOS and the web. Adobe is one of the leading partners to help Apple push the new filetype with Adobe Creative Cloud integration. USDZ files can contain interactive 3D and AR information and can be integrated into web pages, Adobe apps and can be accessed on iOS devices natively. Adobe is offering a new WYSIWYG editor which will allow users to create USDZ files and view them in real time.
