Disney Plus

A new Microsoft Store was shown within the recent Windows 11 presentation, and on it, there was a Disney+ icon listed. And even though it was not only a glimpse, Windows lead Panos Panay commented that he was happy to see Disney+ on the store.

However, this was the only observation made regarding the streaming service, so we don't know what kind of technology that app employs yet. Chances are that users won't care much about this aspect as long as it works fine.

Disney+ could already be accessed on Windows 10 using a browser (and installed as a Progressive Web App), but Windows 11 will have a dedicated app, which is always nice to see. Other apps could be seen there, such as Adobe Creative Cloud suite and Zoom.

Microsoft announced that the new operating system would be available this fall as a free upgrade. For now, you can use a tool to check whether your computer can run Windows 11 and see what it looks like.

If you are not a subscriber yet, you can go ahead and create a Disney+ account since the library has 7,000 TV episodes and over 500 films, including content from National Geographic, Marvel Studios, the Star Wars franchise, animation films from Pixar, plenty of Disney classics, and many more.
