iPhone 12 Display – Screen Sizes Cover the Entire Market Spectrum

Apple has presented the iPhone 12 lineup, and the screen sizes cover all market segments and buyer needs. More specifically, the consumer tech giant has decided to put a "mini" device in the set this year, offering something that doesn't even exist anymore in the Android world. A 5.4-inch flagship-level device that is truly compact - as in iPhone SE-level compact.

From there, the iPhone 12 and the 12 Pro come with 6.1-inch screens - about the same size as the iPhone 11. The Pro Max is going up to phablet-level sizes, with a hearty 6.7-inch screen, aimed at those who want to enjoy content without compromises.

The size is one thing to consider, but quality, type, and extra goodies are not to be ignored either, especially when they are available across the entire range. The new generation of iPhone brings Super Retina XDR, ridiculously high contrast ratios, up to 1200 nits of peak brightness - and Y-OCTA touch on the higher models.

On the screen protection area, Apple has worked with Corning to create a new strong glass they call "Ceramic Shield." The presentation claims 4x better drop protection compared to the previous generation and calls the new glass "the hardest ever to be used on a smartphone."
