Hulu is cooking up a new annual plan for ad-supported subscribers, offering the same perks for a smaller price. So instead of paying for 12 months, subscribers will only pay for 10 months and get a 1-year subscription - which is an obvious win in our book.
Hulu customers who pay $5.99 per month for the ad-supported plan will be able to buy the full-year one for only $59.99. This means everyone subscribing to this plan will get to save some money while still getting access to the extensive library of TV shows, movies, documentaries, and so on.
The list includes highlights like The Handmaid's Tale, or The Act - which are both Hulu originals - but also ER, Full House, and many more. Since Hulu seems to get a good chunk of American TV shows from most networks, the library is that much more appealing.
There's one catch, however: the new plan is only available for existing subscribers of the ad-supported plan. Later on in the year, Hulu plans to roll out the same subscription plan for everyone, including new customers.
Hulu launched back in 2007 and has become one of the best platforms over the years, competing with Netflix for American subscribers. Nowadays, the service is owned by Disney, and people can even subscribe to the platform through a bundle that includes Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ for $12.99 per month.
Hulu Live TV is also a notable service and features some great perks for all subscribers, including access to the Hulu On-Demand library.
