According to recent reports, Apple has registered five new Macs and five new iPads in the Eurasian Economic Commission database. The new devices are likely to be launched along with the upcoming 2018 lineup of Apple iPhone devices scheduled for announcement in September. It is unclear if all of the registered devices will be coming out this year considering the number of database entries.
The new Mac computers have been registered with the model numbers A1931, A1932, A1988, A1989, and A1990 and are said to be running a build of High Sierra instead of the latest version of Mojave. The new iPads have been registered with the model numbers A1876, A2013, A1934, A1979, A2014 and slated for release with iOS 11.
While the exact specifications of the devices are unknown, rumors suggest that a new 13” MacBook Air is rumored to be in the works. Apple’s lineup of Macs has faced harsh criticism due to manufacturing defects in the keyboards and the manufacturer is likely to rectify the issue in the upcoming devices.
Recent iOS 12 beta patches suggest that iPads are set to become bezel-free, and the manufacturer may be ditching the Home button in favor of Face ID. We can expect new devices from both the iPad and iPad Pro lineups. The Cupertino-based company is likely to release a wireless charger for the iPhone X and upcoming iPhones as well as an upgraded version of the wireless AirPods with water resistant materials and background noise cancellation. With the September conference not too far away and iOS 12’s release just around the corner, Apple fans will be in for a treat.
